Join us for a day of reflection, connection, and creativity as we open He Hapori Whakaae – Community of Consent, a powerful collaboration between Wairau Māori Art Gallery, Te Whare Ruruhau o Meri, and Whangarei Rape Crisis.

🌀 The day begins with a Whakatau at 10am, followed by morning tea. During this opening, you’ll hear the whakapapa of Rape Awareness Week from Whangarei Rape Crisis, alongside a presentation by Te Whare Ruruhau o Meri.

🖼 Guided gallery tours of Ta, Tau: Works by Turumeke Harrington
🎨 Ongoing art-making activities for all ages — explore what a community of consent looks, feels, and sounds like to you.

🕦 Exhibition tour times: 11:30am & 1:30pm
📍 Activities take place in the Hundertwasser Activity Room
